Artist photography

Art is when you master the Craft
To get your artwork into shows, magazines or galleries, you need great images of your work.
Over the years, my photographs of artists work were included in magazines, newspapers, shows, events, and social media.
Here are some of my art photographs.
Antoinette Badenhorst
Antoinette is a ceramic artist from Saltillo, Mississippi who are also a selected member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC).
She is known for her translucent porcelain work. Antoinette has presented hands-on workshops in 9 countries and students from 40 countries as already done her online classes at TeachinArt.

Nick Cave
Nick Cave is an artist from Chicago. He is well known for his sculptural forms (Soundsuits) that camouflage the body, masking and creating a second skin that conceals race, gender and class, forcing the viewer to look without judgment.

Artists from around the world

Marc Leuthold is one of forty Americans who is an elected lifetime member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC). He is a Professor at the State University of New York. I took this picture in Vallauris, France.

John Shirley is a ceramic artist from Gauteng province in South Africa who works with bone china and soluble salts as surface treatment on his fine translucent porcelain vessels. John was for many years a Lecturer in Ceramic Design and Ceramic Science at the University of Johannesburg.
Picture
Robert Lawarre from Memphis Tennessee is a machinist, fabricator as well as a great ceramic artist with a Batchelor of fine arts degree from the University of Central Florida. I took these images of his clay sculptures in Valauris, France in July 2016.
Picture
Francoise Joris is a ceramic artist from Belgium who creates fine translucent porcelain sculptures. I took this picture at the Biennale in Vallauris, France.
Picture
Gail Morton from Thaxton in Mississippi is another clay sculptor who tells stories with her art. This specific piece was sculpted because the chicken swallowed her ring. Finally she got the ring back, but Gail shows again how artists can tell stories without saying a word. Sometimes I wish I can see the world through the eyes of an artist ...
